Spend time in the forest: trees in photography

Time has two faces: Chronos and Cairos. Compounding, Chronos is measured and counted while Cairos is lived and experienced. Chronos is the quantitative part of the time, the linear time. Our daily work is mainly about Chronos: carry out the project in good time, spend two hours for a meeting and much more. How many do I have to escape Chronos from time to time. Leave my watch at home. Go outside and enjoy Cairos, the qualitative lifetime. Cairos is lived and experienced and measures moments, not seconds.

My time for forest photography is my personal Cairos time. When the forest fills with fog or becomes a colorful explosion in autumn, I forget the time. My camera moves and is looking for the best way to grasp this moment. My forest photography is a diary of my best Kairos moments. Enjoy this selection of forest photos from last year. Follow me on Instagram to get more forest photography.

I try to be artistic in one of the photos. Successful? By the way, fancy a task? Find the 2 photos with the same tree on them….
