The slimness of the cut is most remarkable in the arms, especially if they carry a somewhat heavier layer underneath. If you are blessed with Dwayne Johnson-like cannons, you may want to look elsewhere.
A strange little trouble that I can’t get away from are the wrist shops. Very similar in design and look into the Arc’Teryx atom. The cuff on the right cover runs as expected. However, the left cuff tends to hang and ride the sleeves. I assume that there is a slight deviation when sewing on the left sleeve that causes this, but it is worth mentioning.

However, some small compromises are noticeable: the zippers are not as smooth or self -sufficiency as higher models, and, as mentioned above, the cuffs can feel a little fussy. These quirks do not ruin the experience, but remind you of where this jacket differentiates between the more expensive atom jacket of 300 US dollars. Nevertheless, it does the job and does well enough for most outdoor users.

The material is not entirely comparable to Arc’Teryx in the refinement, has a clean aesthetics and a durable feeling. It is not haute couture mountain wear, but it definitely looks like that. Slim and clean design is definitely ordered here. The outer surface material is Leto 20, a 60% bio -based nylon and 40% regular nylon mixture, which are both light and (at least up to this point) durable. However, remember that this jacket approaches heavy durability in a light weight, and this material reflects this.

Standard polartec electricity network and Primaloft Gold Active+ round off the stretch -side panels and insulation so that you know that you are in good hands. The insulation is light, so this is not the layer that you will use at your next Everest expedition, but it is really well suited in less difficult conditions.

While you give up a bit of refinement and polish, you will receive a jacket that plays admirable with a solid discount -and the 60 US dollars can go for you and your buds towards lifting cards, climbing or a round of the bar for you and your buds. Infima is a solid alternative for budget -conscious adventurers or those who want to round off their equipment collection without breaking the bank.
