I don’t know the whole science behind it, but I can tell you that the shirt feels almost weightless when wearing.
I haven’t tested it in 90 degrees – it is still a little cold here in Michigan, although we flirt in about 70s. But even on these days the shirt impressed me. It stays comfortable on hikes and long walks, dries quickly when it gets moist and does not stay on your skin. The moisturizers definitely work and I can already say that it really takes a one -time summer.

The mechanical stretch makes it incredibly flexible, so I never feel restricted, even when bending, reaching or baking a way.
The short sleeves hit the right stain on my arms, the collar remains sharp, without being stiff, and the rubberized buttons give a nice touch of durability. It looks sharp enough to carry for work or dinner, but feels relaxed enough for a casual meeting point or a travel day.
Versatility: a shirt that does everything
Here is what surprised me the most: how versatile this shirt really is. I carried it in the church on Sunday morning and then went directly into the park with the children. I packed it for weekend excursions on which I needed a shirt that could do a little bit of everything – whether it is a hike, a brewery station or one simply lazy around Airbnb.
It is not noticeable. There are no additional bags, zippers or functions. It is a clean, simple button-up. But the fabric and the fit feel premium. If you like less, better things in your closet, this shirt deserves a place.
Shelf life and care
I have now washed this shirt about five times and it still looks brand new. The colors have not faded, the material is not packed or stretched out and it doesn’t fold as bad as cotton. I hang dry to be safe, but even if you throw them in the dryer, it seems to keep it well. The rubberized buttons feel solid and have not loosened at all.
Last thoughts: it worth it?
With 89 US dollars, the Roark bless the breathable stretch shirt is not cheap. But after I have worn it over and over again, I can honestly say that it is worth every cent. This is not the type of shirt that you will wear once or twice a month. It is the shirt that she keeps grasping because it works in almost every situation, holds it cool, fits well and lasts. If you are fed up with looking at shirts that look good, but feel stuffy or shirts that are breathable, but look sloppy, hits this sweet spot. It has become my shirt and I already have a second color in mind.
