Like many anglers at the end of a big fishing season, it is the perfect time to pause, reflect and reorganize my equipment. After months on the water, my duel is a mess of confused bait and scattered boxes. As I sort out everything, I decided to update the drift series of Evolution Outdoor 3700 to keep all of my fisheries. When fishing, it is not just a comfort, it is an important part of the successful. Evolution Outdoor offers a wide range of carefully designed memory options with which the equipment is accessible and ready for the next trip.

While Evolution Outdoor is also known for its firearm bearing products, the fishing series is characterized by a variety of tackle bags, soft suitcases, backpacks and accessories. These options are built, taking into account the durability and are suitable for both freshwater and salt water anglers.

Fishing in Colorado represents some unique challenges. Although the state is best known for its mountain landscapes, it also includes huge levels and a diverse mix of fishing environments. Anglers need anglers, from bass in warm prairie reserves to gray ringing in high alpine lakes, a wide range of tackle. This variety requires more than just a generic plastic memory. I have rely on basic containers in the past, but they fail in relation to organization and portability. The Tackle bag in the Outdoor 3700 Drift Series offers a more functional and more reliable solution.

Via the Evolution Outdoor 3700 Drift Series Tackle bag

The Tackle bag of the Evolution Outdoor 3700 Drift Series is an all-in-one-tackle station. This gentle-side bag is equipped with five 14-inch to 1.75-inch tackle trays, each equipped for a variety of fishing baits and terminal tackle. The tray of the 3700 series has the greatest size of Evolution Outdoor and offers sufficient storage for serious anglers. The Tackle bags of the Drift series are available in different colors, including green, blue, red, purple and seafoam green.

The bag consists of the wear resistant 1680D fabric, which was created for robust use. It has an open top design to get quick and easy access to the tackle trays inside. In order to keep the trays safe, a Y-shaped gren grine with a release buckle is included. This belt is also adjustable, which enables compatibility with trays with somewhat different dimensions. An integrated rainfall offers protection against sudden rainfall, and when water penetrates into the bag, the drainage states can contribute to the ground. The base of the bags consists of no poorer, slandered material for additional grip and stability.

All bags

Around the outside of the outdoor area, the 3700 -tackle bag of the Drift series contains several storage bags. On the left there is a dedicated line coil bag with a small opening with which the line can be pulled through without removing the coil. The front of the bag has a large main pocket that contains an integrated pliers holster for quick access. On the right there is another bag that is similar to the coil pocket, but without the line. Each of these bags also contains an outer mains bag. On the back of the bag there is an additional mains bag without zipper.

Ready to go

The bag offers two carrying options for transport. It can be worn by the padded handles, which together with a Velcro packaging or with the adjustable shoulder strap, which can be removed with two plastic clips.

Use the Evolution Outdoor 3700 Drift Series Tackle bag

As someone who has accumulated fishing bait for over a lifetime, it is easy for the collection to pull out of control. The Evolution Outdoors 3700 Drift Series Tackle Bag was a welcome addition to order my equipment and optimize my Angel setup.

simplicity

One of the greatest strengths of this bag is the uncomplicated, functional design. It contains everything you need without the disorder of functions that you do not do. The open top layout enables easy access to the tackle trays, which I found particularly helpful in two ways. First, it makes much faster to locate the equipment in the event of quick changes. Second, it encourages a better organization when you put tackle away. If the storage is uncomfortable or impractical, I tend to throw the equipment wherever it fits, which later leads to chaos. With this bag I tend to return things to your real place.

storage

The clamps supplied are standard for most of the baits I use. Another tray configuration may be required for oversized or bulky bait. Fortunately, Evolution Outdoor offers a variety of tablet options so that the setup can easily adjust. My only problem was so far with the durability of the latch. After about five excursions, one of the bars came off. The others were okay, but I expected a little more longevity from a brand new Tackle tray.

Tray full of bait

The outer pockets are well placed and functional. I use one of the end zippers for soft plastics and the other for an additional line. The plastics fit well with a little folds and line coils are well. The coil pocket contains an opening with which you can pull through the line without removing the coil. Personally, I do not often see that I use this function often because I rarely have to change the line or the leader during the running, but I can see that it is useful for certain setups.

Fishing bag

The Integrated drawer holder is an intelligent note. Tongs are easy to forget, and if you work with height hooks, you are almost essential. The front pocket and the mesh memory offer even more space for tools, equipment and smaller accessories. I appreciate to have several storage zones in my pocket, which helps with both organization and access.

Pliers bag

Carry

There are two ways to wear the bag and both work well depending on the situation. The padded handles are perfect for short movements, such as the repositioning along a river bank. The adjustable shoulder strap is much more comfortable for longer walks. I recently put this to the test during a multi-miles walk around a lake in search of large ice trout. While we didn’t land a trophy that day, thanks to the capacity of the bag, I had everything I needed that I needed.

Ready on the boat

Rainfly

At first I didn’t think much about the built -in rainfall. That changed in an early spring evening when a surprising snowqualler rolled rolled through. A few heavy centimeters covered the area within a few minutes. It was a relief to pull the rainfall over the pocket and prevent my equipment from being soaked. Even if I had covered it late, the drainage functions in the bottom of the bag would have contributed to minimizing the water accumulation.
